Binge watched 5 episodes and i stopped only because I've got office tomorrow. Superb casting and splendid acting by everyone. Even the side characters were so well performed that i am worried about their eventual fates. Nuanced performance by the whole team. And the episodes are about 40mims long, the rest is for credits.
This series is so good specially the love story between Taajdaar and alam ...i just love it ❤

I do not agree with your review, I think it is very well made and I do not think it offends sensitivity of any religion. Lahore was a mixture of religion and cultures in 1920. Really enjoyed the first episode! Five out of five stars

Bro I don't know what your agenda is, but this is one of the most well-directed web series with the best cinematography by an Indian director that I've ever seen. Yes, the love story of Sharmin and the guy is a little drawn out, but the sets, performances, direction, dialogues, costumes, cameras and background music are all world-class, international level.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali has broken his own record in terms of performance and direction.

People have developed a habit of watching explicit content in recent years, especially in web series. If you can't appreciate clean acting, story, and aesthetics, you're missing out. In this series, there's an attempt to present ghazals, thumris, and music in their purest form. Just think, a director who typically caters to mainstream Bollywood music is now trying to stay true to the original. There's no overpowering background music or forced hooks, so if it's not excessively dramatic, it's labeled as boring. They're putting as much effort into one episode as they would into an 8-episode web series these days. Such dedication to mindset, dialogues, music, and costumes requires understanding. Reviewing Heeramandi isn't something you're equipped for. If everything was about numbers, you know Bhansali could do it effortlessly with just a snap of his fingers. His keen eye and experience are evident; it's heavy drama that you couldn't digest.
